12th Generation Uni-Q® Driver Array with MAT™
At the heart of the R7 Meta is KEF's 12th Generation Uni-Q® driver array, enhanced with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™). This advanced technology absorbs unwanted rear radiation from the tweeter, significantly reducing distortion and allowing music and dialogue to be reproduced with outstanding clarity and natural detail.
By placing the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange driver, the Uni-Q® array acts as a true single point source. The result is exceptionally precise imaging, a wider listening area and consistently balanced sound throughout the room.
Powerful and Controlled Bass Performance
Four 165 mm hybrid aluminium bass drivers deliver deep, powerful and highly controlled low frequencies. Working together with the carefully engineered cabinet and bass reflex system, they provide impressive impact while maintaining excellent speed, precision and musical accuracy.
Precision Acoustic Engineering
Every element of the R Series has been refined using advanced computer modelling and thousands of acoustic measurements.
