Powerful low-frequency performance

The Acoustic Energy AE Sub is an all-new active subwoofer designed to complement both the 100 Series and 300 Series loudspeakers. Delivering exceptional performance in both Hi-Fi and home cinema installations, it naturally and seamlessly extends low-frequency response down to 26 Hz (±6 dB).

12-inch long-excursion driver

The AE Sub combines a 12-inch (300 mm) long-excursion doped and stiffened pulp-fibre driver with a powerful 250 W RMS amplifier to produce fast, deep and controlled bass with excellent musical accuracy and cinematic impact.

Flexible system integration

Stereo line-level inputs, LFE input and high-level speaker inputs provide compatibility with virtually any Hi-Fi or home theatre system. Adjustable low-pass crossover (40–180 Hz), phase control (0–180°) and volume adjustment allow seamless integration with the main loudspeakers, while Auto On/Off automatically powers the subwoofer when an audio signal is detected.

Designed for modern living spaces

Its compact cabinet delivers impressive bass performance without dominating the room. The AE Sub is supplied with carpet-piercing spikes and protective rubber caps for hard floors and is available in Matte Black and Matte White finishes.
