The AE120² is the largest model in the Acoustic Energy 100 Series and a true 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker. Designed to deliver room-filling sound from a slim, elegant enclosure, it offers a significant step up in scale, dynamics and bass performance while maintaining exceptional value.

True three-way driver configuration

The AE120² features two 130 mm bass drivers, a dedicated 130 mm midrange driver and a 25 mm soft dome tweeter. By allocating separate frequency ranges to each drive unit, the loudspeaker achieves greater clarity, improved vocal reproduction and more accurate overall tonal balance.

Engineered for performance

The long-throw paper cone drivers combine excellent rigidity with low distortion, while the rigid MDF cabinet and rear-firing reflex port enhance bass extension and minimise unwanted cabinet resonance. Together these design elements produce controlled, dynamic and engaging sound reproduction.
