Power Amplifier

The AA100DM power amplifier is the latest addition to the PureAA line. Its amplifier stage is derived from the Puccini Anniversary, while output power has been increased to 100W. Designed for a wide range of applications, the AA100DM combines high power, excellent control and refined musicality.

As in the Puccini Anniversary, the power stage operates without global feedback, making it less sensitive to different speaker loads while avoiding oscillation, high-frequency resonance peaks and input stage saturation. The amplifier features a fully balanced circuit throughout.

Technical Description

The AA100DM is a fully balanced power amplifier with a zero-feedback design. It features dual-mono circuitry with discrete components, military-grade resistors and polypropylene capacitors.

A 760VA transformer supplies the amplifier, while six pairs of On-Semiconductor power transistors—three per channel—provide the output stage. Internal wiring uses pure solid 7N OCC copper conductors, complemented by gold-plated output connectors.

The amplifier can also be configured for bridge mono operation using the dedicated connection kit. It is available in natural aluminium or satin black finishes.
