Marantz MODEL 70 Integrated Amplifier

Marantz MODEL 70 is a compact 2-channel integrated amplifier combining Marantz audio engineering with modern connectivity. It is designed for listening to music from analogue and digital sources, turntables, TVs and Bluetooth devices.

The amplifier features a Class A/B design with Marantz Current Feedback topology and HDAM-SA3 modules. It delivers 50W per channel into 8 ohms and 65W per channel into 4 ohms, supported by a toroidal power transformer.

Marantz Current Feedback and HDAM-SA3

MODEL 70 employs Marantz Current Feedback amplifier topology together with HDAM-SA3 (Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology. Marantz uses its discrete HDAM modules in place of conventional integrated amplification circuits.

The Class A/B power amplifier delivers 50W per channel into 8 ohms and 65W per channel into 4 ohms. A toroidal transformer forms the foundation of the amplifier's power supply.

ES Sabre DAC for Digital Sources

An integrated ES Sabre DAC allows digital audio sources to be connected directly to MODEL 70. Optical and coaxial digital inputs provide connectivity for a variety of digital Hi-Fi components.

Source Direct mode bypasses the tone control circuitry for a more direct signal path. Bass, treble and balance controls are also available when required.

MM Phono Stage

MODEL 70 features an integrated MM phono stage, allowing a turntable equipped with a Moving Magnet cartridge to be connected directly without requiring an external phono preamplifier.

Together with its other analogue inputs, MODEL 70 can serve as the central component for a wide range of analogue and digital music sources.

HDMI ARC for TV Audio

An HDMI ARC connection allows MODEL 70 to become part of a TV audio system. Audio from a compatible television can be routed directly through the amplifier and reproduced using the main stereo loudspeakers.

This allows the same two-channel Hi-Fi system to be used for music as well as television, movies and other video content.

Bluetooth with aptX HD and aptX Adaptive

Integrated Bluetooth enables wireless playback from compatible mobile devices. MODEL 70 supports aptX, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive codecs.

Bluetooth also works in the opposite direction, allowing audio from MODEL 70 to be transmitted to compatible Bluetooth headphones for wireless listening.

Flexible System Expansion

A Pre-out connection allows MODEL 70 to be integrated with an external power amplifier, while a dedicated Subwoofer out makes it possible to add a powered subwoofer to the stereo system.

The compact chassis also incorporates a low-noise OLED display. MODEL 70 is available in Black and Silver-Gold finishes.
