NAD M33 V2 BluOS Streaming DAC Amplifier

NAD M33 V2 is a Masters Series BluOS Streaming DAC Amplifier that builds on the performance of its predecessor with a more advanced approach to signal processing, conversion and amplification. With second-generation Eigentakt™ amplification, an upgraded ESS DAC and ADC architecture, and timing-focused technologies from MQA Labs, the M33 V2 is engineered to reveal more of the nuance, texture and expression within each recording.

By developing each stage of the audio path as part of a unified system, the M33 V2 reduces noise and timing errors while maintaining consistency across both digital and analogue sources, resulting in a clearer, more stable presentation with greater focus.

Second-Generation Eigentakt™ Amplification

Second-generation Eigentakt™ amplification delivers high power with exceptionally low distortion, allowing the M33 V2 to maintain control across a wide range of loudspeakers.

Rated output power exceeds 200W per channel into 8 ohms and 380W per channel into 4 ohms with both channels driven. Dynamic power reaches 560W into 4 ohms, providing stable control of demanding loudspeakers.

Beyond output power, the amplifier is designed to preserve subtle shifts in dynamics and phrasing that give music its shape and expression, maintaining a composed and responsive presentation even during complex passages.

ESS ES9039PRO DAC, FOQUS and QRONO

The M33 V2 features an ESS ES9039PRO DAC with a next-generation ADC architecture designed to improve detail and spatial accuracy across both digital and analogue sources.

FOQUS and QRONO technologies from MQA Labs reduce timing errors during conversion, helping to preserve the natural alignment and flow of musical elements so recordings sound more cohesive and lifelike.

Dirac Live® Room Correction

The M33 V2 includes a Dirac Live® Limited Bandwidth licence and calibration microphone for room correction up to 500Hz. By addressing room-induced effects, Dirac Live improves low-frequency accuracy, clarity and tonal balance.

The amplifier also supports optional Dirac Live® Bass Control, providing advanced subwoofer optimisation with the purchase of an additional licence.

BluOS High-Resolution Streaming

Integrated BluOS provides high-resolution multi-room streaming through the BluOS Controller App, with support for a wide range of music services and audio formats. High-resolution playback is supported at up to 192kHz / 24-bit.

Additional connectivity options including AirPlay 2, aptX HD Bluetooth, Roon and HDMI eARC allow the M33 V2 to integrate easily into a wide range of modern audio systems.

MM/MC Phono and Flexible Connectivity

A reference-grade MM/MC phono stage with an infrasonic filter and accurate RIAA equalisation allows both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil turntable cartridges to be connected directly to the M33 V2.

Balanced XLR inputs and outputs provide additional system flexibility, while dual high-voltage subwoofer outputs with adjustable crossovers make it easier to integrate subwoofers into the system.

Built to Evolve

NAD's Modular Design Construction platform provides two MDC slots that allow the M33 V2 to adapt as new technologies emerge, extending the useful lifespan of the product as systems and sources evolve.

A 7-inch full-colour touchscreen provides direct access to playback and system settings. For systems requiring even greater power, the M33 V2 can also be bridged with an NAD M23 V2 power amplifier for output of more than 700W per channel into 8 ohms.
