Atlas Hyper Speaker 5.0 R1 is based on the acclaimed Hyper 3.5 but features an increased conductor diameter for improved performance capability. The cable uses twin 5 mm² OFC copper conductors and is available terminated in Z (Z-Plug) or S (Spade) versions.

Atlas describes the Hyper 5.0 as the ‘long-wheelbase’ version of the Hyper 3.5, offering a step-up in overall performance with improved bass accuracy and control. The Hyper Speaker 5.0 R1 is particularly well-suited for use in longer cable runs.

5 mm² OFC Copper Conductors

The Hyper Speaker 5.0 R1 uses twin 5 mm² OFC copper conductors. Compared with the Hyper 3.5, the increased conductor diameter improves the cable's performance capability.

The OFC copper conductors are wrapped in a cotton anti-vibration filler and high-efficiency FEP dielectric, allowing Hyper to reveal more of the performance level of which the connected equipment is capable.

Improved Bass Accuracy and Control

The Hyper 5.0 offers a step-up in overall performance compared with the Hyper 3.5, with improved bass accuracy and control. Its larger conductors also make the cable particularly well-suited for longer cable runs.

Systematic Plugs and Cold-Weld Termination

Atlas' robust Systematic plugs use precision-calibrated cold-weld termination. According to Atlas, this provides a superior connection to conventional solder fixing, with increased signal continuity due to fewer barriers created by different materials.

Termination Options

The Hyper Speaker 5.0 R1 is available with Achromatic Z-Plug or Spade termination. OFC spades are also available as a factory termination option.
