Marantz CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 is a powerful 9.4-channel AV receiver engineered to deliver immersive surround sound and powerful amplification for purpose-built media rooms and home theatres. With nine channels of 110-watt-per-channel amplification and support for up to 11.4-channel pre-amp mode/pre-outs, it provides the power, control and flexibility needed to create a truly cinematic experience.

Support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced is combined with an upgraded high-performance DAC, Marantz HDAM-SA2 technology and Current Feedback topology. Six 8K HDMI inputs, HEOS™ Built-in, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and Dirac Live upgradability provide extensive flexibility for modern entertainment systems.

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and Dirac Live

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 provides automatic speaker and room calibration using the supplied measurement microphone. CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 is also Dirac Live upgradeable, providing an additional room correction option.

Flexible 8K HDMI Connectivity

CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 connects to modern TVs, streaming devices and gaming systems with six 8K HDMI inputs. HDMI connectivity supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz signals at up to 40Gbps, together with eARC.

HDR, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR are supported, alongside gaming technologies including VRR, ALLM, QFT and AMD FreeSync.

HEOS™ Built-in

With HEOS™ Built-in, wireless music streaming and multi-room audio are simple to integrate and control. Supported services and technologies include AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, TuneIn and other streaming services.

CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 is also Roon Ready and supports high-resolution FLAC, WAV and ALAC playback up to 192 kHz / 24-bit, as well as DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz.

Extensive System Connectivity

Alongside HDMI, CINEMA 50 SERIES 2 provides analogue and digital audio inputs, an MM Phono input, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth retransmission allows audio to be sent to compatible Bluetooth headphones.

11.4-channel pre-outs, four independent subwoofer outputs and 11 gold-plated speaker terminals provide extensive flexibility when building or expanding a home cinema system.
