Solidsteel HY-4 High-End AV Rack

Solidsteel HY-4 is a four-shelf High-End AV rack from the Hyperspike Series, designed to accommodate Hi-Fi and High-End audio components. The HY Series represents the natural four-pillar evolution of the Hyperspike Junior (HJ Series), combining Solidsteel construction principles with refined Italian design.

With four separate levels for audio equipment, the HY-4 provides ample space for larger systems incorporating integrated or preamplifiers, power amplifiers, CD or network players, DACs, phono stages and other components. Each shelf supports a maximum load of 70 kg (155 lb).

Hyperspike Series Construction

The HY Series represents the natural four-pillar evolution of the well-known Hyperspike Junior Series. It combines functional design, carefully selected materials and the distinctive styling associated with Solidsteel audio furniture.

The HY-4 is the four-shelf configuration of this modular system, providing additional space for larger Hi-Fi installations while retaining the fundamental construction principles of the HY Series.

Stainless Steel INOX Frame

The HY-4 is built around four 39 mm diameter stainless steel pillars. Stainless steel is also used for the upper and bottom terminations, adjustable spikes, protective floor discs and fixing hardware.

The modular four-pillar structure provides a robust platform capable of accommodating substantial Hi-Fi and High-End audio components.

30 mm MDF Shelves

The HY-4 features 30 mm thick MDF shelves with a lacquered finish. Each shelf supports a maximum load of 70 kg (155 lb).

Four separate equipment levels provide generous space for arranging the individual components of a complete audio system.

Different Inner Shelf Spacing

The HY-4 provides 285 / 185 / 185 mm inner shelf spacing. The larger 285 mm section accommodates taller components, while the two 185 mm sections provide dedicated space for more compact audio electronics.

Adjustable Stainless Steel Spikes

The rack incorporates adjustable stainless steel spikes for accurate positioning. Protective floor discs and rubber O-rings are also incorporated as part of the HY Series construction.

Four Levels for a Complete Audio System

With overall dimensions of 600 × 500 × 875 mm, the Solidsteel HY-4 provides four dedicated levels for a larger Hi-Fi or High-End audio system.

The HY-4 retains the defining elements of the HY Series – modular stainless steel construction, substantial MDF shelves, high load capacity and distinctive Solidsteel Hyperspike design.
