Solidsteel HY-3 High-End AV Rack

Solidsteel HY-3 is a three-shelf High-End AV rack from the Hyperspike Series, designed to accommodate Hi-Fi and High-End audio components. The HY Series combines refined Italian design, a modular four-pillar structure and premium materials in a versatile audio furniture solution.

Solidsteel defines the HY Series as “Functional Beauty.” Representing a balance between functionality and quality, the HY racks are the natural four-pillar evolution of the well-known Hyperspike Junior (HJ Series), maintaining the principles of Hyperspike construction and Solidsteel's distinctive stylistic language.

The HY Series represents the natural four-pillar evolution of the Hyperspike Junior (HJ Series), maintaining the fundamental principles of Hyperspike construction in a distinctive and versatile design.

Full Stainless Steel INOX Frame

The HY-3 is built around a modular stainless steel INOX frame. The main frame features 39 mm diameter pillars, while the upper terminations, bottom terminations, adjustable spikes, protective floor discs and screws are also manufactured from stainless steel.

The four-pillar structure provides a robust platform for a wide range of Hi-Fi and High-End audio components.

MDF Shelves with Lacquered Finish

The HY Series features MDF shelves with a lacquered finish. Each shelf supports a maximum load of 70 kg (155 lb), allowing the rack to accommodate substantial audio electronics.

The three-shelf HY-3 configuration provides separate levels for amplifiers, source components and other equipment within a complete audio system.

285 mm / 185 mm Inner Shelf Spacing

Solidsteel specifies 285 mm and 185 mm inner shelf spacing for the HY-3. The different shelf heights provide flexibility for arranging audio components of varying dimensions.

Adjustable Stainless Steel Spikes

The HY frame incorporates adjustable stainless steel spikes together with protective floor discs. This system allows accurate positioning of the rack while helping protect the supporting floor surface.

Rubber O-rings are also incorporated as part of the HY Series modular frame construction.

Modular HY Series Design

The HY Series is designed as a modular furniture solution with a distinctive identity fully faithful to Solidsteel's stylistic language. The range includes two-, three- and four-shelf racks, larger versions, dedicated amplifier stands and custom kits.
