The Melodika MDC1820 Purple is a Cat.6e F/UTP twisted pair cable designed for transmitting data, audio and video signals with binary throughput exceeding 1 Gb/s. Built with 99.96% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors in a 4 × 2 × 0.57 mm² configuration, it provides stable performance and low signal loss.

Shielded for reliable transmission

The cable features an overall foil shield (F/UTP) together with a drain wire, providing effective protection against external electromagnetic interference while helping maintain signal integrity. Supporting frequencies up to 350 MHz with a 100 Ohm characteristic impedance, it is suitable for LAN, AV and smart home installations.

Built for long-term installations

A durable PVC jacket protects the cable against mechanical damage, while its operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C makes it suitable for a wide variety of indoor installations. Sold by the metre, the MDC1820 allows installers to create custom cable lengths for any application.
